CHAMELEON LIME WHOOPIEPIE just dropped ‘PUNKS’, the official ending theme for One Piece’s Egghead arc — and it’s as wild as the name suggests.

The Japanese alt-pop outfit bring their full sonic madness to the iconic anime, ditching ballad territory for glitchy hooks and sugar-rush energy. From its unhinged “Piipapii papipo” chant to its rave-ready chaos-pop production, ‘PUNKS’ is a mosh-worthy, mirror-selfie-ready banger — peak CLWP.

“I never imagined I’d be in charge of a One Piece ending — I was honestly shocked, like, why us!?” shares Chi-, the project’s frontperson. “It’s such a beloved series all over the world, so I felt a huge responsibility — but because we were chosen, I made sure to enjoy the process like we always do, while keeping that futuristic "PipaPipo" feeling and raw human emotion in mind.”

The single’s artwork is just as chaotic: Egghead’s Dr. Vegapunk is seen trapped in a CRT television, layered with CLWP’s candy-coloured aesthetics in a retro-futuristic mashup.

The music video? Pure sensory overload. Directed and edited by a member of the group, the clip is a DIY rave-meets-sci-fi dreamscape — part neon explosion, part internet fever dream.

The non-credit version of the ending is also up now on the One Piece YouTube channel for those who want to soak in the visuals with zero distractions.

With their genre-defying sound, surreal visuals, and no-holds-barred creativity, CHAMELEON LIME WHOOPIEPIE aren’t just making anime music — they’re flipping it on its head. “I put so much love into it that I thought my head might explode,” Chi- adds. “Now all that’s left is for everyone to dance — are you ready?! Let’s dance!”
