Singapore content creator Natalie Naploes has caught the attention of Charlie Puth after a viral TikTok moment made its way to the American singer-songwriter himself.
Naploes’ original video saw her mishear the question “You like Charlie Puth?” as “You think my Chinese improve?” The clip has since picked up over 420,000 views and 47,000 likes.

Things came full circle when Puth reposted the video before uploading his own TikTok using Naploes’ audio, lip-syncing to the now-viral line while on a flight.

Naploes shared her reaction, joking that she was ready to move to Los Angeles after landing her “big break”.

“Seeing Charlie Puth lip-sync to my Singaporean accent is actually crazy,” she said in a follow-up TikTok, before declaring: “Majulah Singapura!”
Naploes also celebrated the unexpected shoutout with her followers, cheekily joking about the start of her Hollywood career.
