Fans of heartfelt J-pop and classic Mandopop are in for a treat — Chiharu Tamashiro, the beloved vocalist of acclaimed Japanese duo Kiroro, will be performing in Singapore for the very first time on 8 November at Gateway Theatre.
Known for her emotive voice and timeless melodies, Tamashiro will bring to life the original Japanese versions of songs that became massive Mandopop hits in the 2000s, including '未来へ' (famously covered as '后来' by Rene Liu), '長い間' ('很爱很爱你'), and '逢いたい' ('收获').
This special one-night-only concert will also feature fan-favourite Kiroro tracks like 'Best Friend' and 'Himawari', celebrating the themes of love, friendship, and hope that have resonated with audiences for decades. Kiroro's influence runs deep in the J-pop world — with three appearances at the prestigious NHK Red and White Music Festival and awards for Best New Artiste, Best Song, and Best Composer.
Their album Kiroro no Mori even topped the Oricon Albums Chart and remains one of the genre’s top sellers.

Presented by Mode Entertainment, this performance offers a rare chance for Singapore fans to experience the original voice behind these enduring hits. VIP ticket holders will enjoy exclusive perks, including a solo photo opportunity with Tamashiro and a signed event memorabilia. Tickets go on general sale from 25 July at 10 AM via Ticketmaster.sg, with prices and seat details available online.
