CIRRA are showing their confident side with ‘I like it’.

Released on 21 October, the Japanese girl group’s new single pairs house-inspired production with English and Japanese lyrics, bringing a sleek dance sound to their upcoming third EP, Snow Dress / I like it. The track arrives alongside a new music video and is available on streaming platforms.

Written by Mayu Wakisaka, with composition by Rajan Muse, Wakisaka, and Louise Lindberg, ‘I like it’ puts the 10-member group’s performance energy at the centre. Muse also handled the arrangement, shaping a cool, contemporary sound that complements the song’s assured mood.

The single introduces one of two contrasting sides to the forthcoming EP. While ‘I like it’ leans into upbeat dance music, fellow title track ‘Snow Dress’ takes a slower, more emotional approach. The latter arrives on 2 November, ahead of the full EP on 18 November.

‘I like it’ is the second of three pre-release singles, following ‘Ready, steady, glow!’, which dropped on 1 October.

Pronounced “She-ra”, CIRRA were formed through GALBATO – GIRLS BATTLE AUDITION –, a nationwide audition project led by former E-girls leader Harumi Sato, who produces the group. Its members are MYU.S, TOA, HINATA, YURARA, YUNA, MOMO, NIKORI, MYU.Y, KOHARU, and MANON.

The group officially debuted in March with one-way-runway / Always, whose track ‘Always’ reached No. 1 on Billboard JAPAN’s Heatseekers Songs chart. Their second EP, Water, followed in August, making Snow Dress / I like it their third EP of the year.
