Clockenflap Music and Arts Festival truly delivered.
Hong Kong's biggest music and arts festival gave attendees three days worth of world-class live music and arts. A quick look at its amazing line-up and one would figure out why this year's festival was sold out.
Here's a quick recap of what took place at Central Harbourfront:
Day One

On 3 March, attendees witnessed soulful Taiwanese singer-songwriter YELLOW 黃宣, Canadian indie darlings Men I Trust, and French synth-rock band Phoenix on the Harbourflap Stage.

UK rock icons Arctic Monkeys also performed for the first time in Hong Kong.

Meanwhile, local post-punk band David Boring and Hong Kong hip-hop artist YoungQueenz dominated the FWD stage.

Day Two

On the second day of the festival (4 March), French New House pioneer FKJ, Norwegian folk-pop legends Kings of Convenience, and acclaimed American singer-songwriter Sasha Alex Sloan graced the Harbourflap Stage.

Swedish indie-pop band The Cardigans also gave a memorable headlining performance.

Musical diversity was also seen on the FWD Stage through the headline set of Canto-rock outfit KOLOR, the joint performance of COLLAR x RubberBand, and the music of American indie soul project GINGER ROOT, Thai indie-pop duo HYBS and Taiwanese singer-songwriter LÜCY.

More performances were seen on the Park Stage from local breakout rock act N.Y.P.D., Tokyo-based indie band HITSUJIBUNGAKU, and Japanese dance-pop quartet CHAI. On the Electriq Stage, artists paid tribute to Hong Kong music producer Janette Slack.

Day Three

The last day of the festival ended with hip-hop legends Wu-Tang Clan performing on the Harbourflap Stage. Bombay Bicycle Club, MILET, Julia Wu, and Ben&Ben also took the stage that day.

Performances from German electronic supergroup MODERAT, Japanese experimental rock band MONO, British jazz quintet Ezra Collective, and Thai rock act Three Man Down were applauded on the FWD Stage.
The Park Stage, on the other hand, saw performances by British rock band Black Country, New Road, South Korean hip-hop collective Balming Tiger, and Taiwanese folk-rock act Your Woman Sleep With Others.

The festival also announced that its next edition will take place on 1-3 December 2023.
