It can be hard trying to adjust to Coldplay's ever-shifting sound, especially if you're a staunch fan of the early A Rush of Blood to the Head-era songs.
But you have to give credit to the band for wanting to explore other sonic directions, whether if it's surprisingly artsy (Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends could be their greatest achievement yet) or pandering to a new, trendy sound ('A Sky Full of Stars', anyone?).
Their venture into the bright unknown continues as the band announces their new album A Head Full of Dreams. The album has 11 tracks and will feature appearances by Beyonce, Noel Gallagher and Tove Lo. It's set for a release date that's closer than you think: December 4.

Here's the full tracklist:
01. A Head Full Of Dreams
02. Birds
03. Hymn For The Weekend
04. Everglow
05. Adventure Of A Lifetime
06. Fun
07. Kaleidoscope
08. Army Of One
09. Amazing Day
10. Colour Spectrum
11. Up&Up
Check out the first single off the album, 'Adventure of a Lifetime'.
Additionally, if you're truly pining for a pre-X&Y Coldplay — the era where Chris Martin didn't jump around as much and loved the piano even more — we've dug up some archival footage of the band's first ever Singaporean show in 2001, thanks to an eager local fan.
