The Indonesian music scene is buzzing after a surprise teaser suggested that Kanye West — also known as Ye — could be heading to Jakarta for a concert in 2026.

The speculation kicked off during the Ye Bully Listening Party on 22 April at Bengkel Space in South Jakarta. Originally planned as a playback session for 18 tracks from his latest album Bully, the event quickly turned into something much bigger.

Midway through the night, fans were caught off guard when a cryptic message flashed across the venue’s videotron screen: “Ye Jakarta Coming Soon 2026.” The moment sparked instant cheers, with attendees erupting into excitement over the possibility of Ye bringing his live show to Indonesia.

The teaser also appears to tie back to earlier hints from Raw Vision Collective, who organised the listening party. Prior to the event, the collective teased that the session was merely a “warm-up” for a larger upcoming project in Jakarta — now widely believed to be linked to a potential concert.

As of now, there’s still no official confirmation from promoters or organisers. Details such as venue, ticketing, and tour plans remain under wraps, leaving fans in a state of hopeful anticipation.

Still, the impact is undeniable. Even as a rumour, the prospect of Ye performing in Jakarta has already sent waves across Indonesian social media — with fans eager to see the controversial star include the city in his next tour cycle.
