Fans who post Instagram stories or go live mid-concert, fret no more; better internet is coming to the Singapore Sports Hub.
Kallang Alive Sport Management (KASM) has announced a precinct-wide rollout of Wi-Fi 7, set to bring faster, more stable connections to every corner of the Hub. From the roar of the National Stadium to the vibe at the OCBC Arena, visitors can soon expect stronger signals and smoother uploads.
The Sports Hub has long been the stage for massive shows — from Taylor Swift’s record six-night run (her only stop in Southeast Asia) to Lady Gaga’s Mayhem Tour, Coldplay, and Foo Fighters. Now, it’s gearing up for a digital glow-up to match its world-class lineup.

The upgrade is led by M1 as the network system integrator, with Cisco providing the technology backbone. Together, they’re laying the groundwork for a high-density, low-latency Wi-Fi 7 network designed to handle packed crowds, lightning-fast speeds, and real-time fan experiences. Think instant livestreams, faster check-ins, and maybe even a future where AR concert moments are part of the show.
“This new Wi-Fi network is an important infrastructure investment that will lay a strong foundation for our digital transformation at the Singapore Sports Hub. With this infrastructure, we are enabling unparalleled connectivity to drive cutting-edge, immersive, and personalised digital experiences for all,” said Quek Swee Kuan, Chief Executive Officer, KASM.

According to KASM, the implementation will happen in phases and is expected to be completed by the first half of 2026, enhancing not just connectivity but also data insights to improve operations and crowd flow across the entire Sports Hub precinct. So, the next time your favourite artist takes the stage — whether it’s a blockbuster concert or a sold-out match — your phone might finally keep up.
Can we test out this new Wi-Fi during upcoming 2026 arena shows? What would you post first with blazing-fast connectivity?
