Long-running Chinese music festival Concrete & Grass will be taking over The Tivoli in Brisbane on Friday, 6 September!

Over the years, the festival has served as a bridge by introducing many Australian acts to new Asian audiences. This time, they've flipped the script to bring Asia’s finest to Australia.

This bite-sized version of the fest will feature Korean-Australian sensations 1300, who've been blowing up thanks to their sweaty blend of SoundCloud rap, EBM, drum & bass, garage and dubstep.

They'll be joined by South Korean guitar goddess MEMI, soulful Malaysian songstress Lunadira, Chinese post-punk act Lur, Shanghai surf rockers Loft Beach, and avant-garde Taipei producer/DJ B E N N

"We’re buzzed to bring a small piece of the Concrete & Grass experience to Brisbane,” says Archie Hamilton, founder of organisers Split Works. "Having curated festivals and toured artists across Asia for nearly two decades, it’s exciting to showcase Asia’s most cutting edge talent in established markets, allowing fans to discover and enjoy the breadth of musical diversity Asia has to offer.”

Tickets are available here.
