South Korean boy group CORTIS are stepping deeper into their identity with the release of their second EP GREENGREEN, a six-track project that sharpens what the group stands for — and what they don’t.
Following their debut record COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES, the new EP marks a shift from breaking conventions to actively building their own creative space. This time around, all five members — MARTIN, JAMES, JUHOON, SEONGHYEON, and KEONHO — take stronger ownership across songwriting and production, shaping a sound that feels more intentional and self-defined.
At the core of GREENGREEN is pre-release single 'REDRED'. Built around the contrast of green and red, the track lays out the group’s personal standards — what they embrace, and what they push back against. It’s a defining statement that sets the tone for the rest of the EP, with every member contributing to both lyrics and composition.
The EP unfolds across six tracks, each reflecting a different facet of CORTIS’s evolving identity:
- 'TNT' captures raw, explosive energy born in the studio
- 'REDRED' defines their creative stance
- 'ACAI' turns everyday rituals into personal expression
- 'YOUNGCREATORCREW' explores their relationship with labels and identity
- 'Wassup' channels momentum and drive
- 'Blue Lips' slows things down with introspection and emotional aftermath
Released alongside the EP, 'TNT' arrives with an official music video that amplifies the track’s intensity. The visual follows the group being chased by over 500 people, mirroring the chaotic, high-energy spark that defines the song. Anchored by lines like “Five brats in a room every night / At the studio PC waking their DNA,” the track highlights their fearless, instinct-driven approach to music-making.
Beyond the release, CORTIS continue to expand their global footprint. Earlier this year, they headlined the opening night of the NBA Crossover Concert Series during NBA All-Star 2026 — becoming the first K-pop act to do so — before performing again at the halftime show. They are also set to perform on 1 August at Lollapalooza in Chicago, joining a lineup that includes Charli xcx, Tate McRae, and Lorde.
