CxM, the high-octane sub-unit of SEVENTEEN made up of S.COUPS and MINGYU, have officially dropped their debut mini-album HYPE VIBES — and it’s exactly what it sounds like: fun, fresh, and full of energy.

The six-track project sees the duo leaning into their hip-hop unit roots while radiating a more carefree, vibrant persona. From the disco-glossed lead single ‘5, 4, 3 (Pretty woman)’ featuring Gen Z star Lay Bankz, to the genre-hopping b-sides, HYPE VIBES is a full-bodied intro to CxM's world of rhythm, romance, and real connection.

As its name suggests, HYPE VIBES channels the electricity of a shared moment — like a high-five. The album pulses with infectious beats and bold expressions of individuality, as S.COUPS and MINGYU move to their own rhythm while inviting listeners to join in.

Their title track ‘5, 4, 3 (Pretty woman)’ borrows from Roy Orbison’s classic, interpolating 'Oh, Pretty Woman' with a flirty, modern twist. The result? A retro-pop anthem charged with disco flair and undeniable charm.

Set against a dreamy Los Angeles backdrop, the music video for ‘5, 4, 3 (Pretty woman)’ flips the gaze — showing the duo navigating everyday sparks of beauty from the perspective of the women they meet. Lay Bankz makes a surprise cameo, strutting through city scenes with confidence and style, underscoring the track’s message that “pretty” comes in many forms.

Beyond the title track, HYPE VIBES flexes CxM’s range:

  • Fiesta’ and ‘Worth it’ turn up the swagger with hip-hop bravado

  • For you’ melts into pop sweetness

  • Young again’ blends youthful nostalgia with a rock edge

  • Earth’ brings a high-energy EDM punch

Both S.COUPS and MINGYU are credited as writers and producers across all six tracks, offering fans a deeply personal debut that reflects their creative growth.
