The two rising icons are set to release ‘Always Love’, a heartfelt collaboration via Darkroom Records. Blending d4vd’s raw, melancholic style with Hyunjin’s soothing vocals, the track unfolds like a poetic love story — touching on longing, dreams, and emotional closure.
The collab has been a long time coming. Fans first caught wind when Hyunjin mentioned d4vd in a Teen Vogue interview, followed by d4vd returning the praise on Korean radio. Since then, the duo’s online friendship blossomed — promoting each other’s work and teasing a potential collab. That dream became reality when the pair finally met in person at a Stray Kids concert in Los Angeles earlier this month.
From admiration to collaboration, the journey has been a slow burn fans couldn't stop tracking. Here’s a full timeline of their interactions.

Built around a progression of questions — “do you,” “would you,” “are you” — the track resolves into the heartfelt line: “I don't need no one else, but you.” Their alternating vocals convey every nuance of uncertainty, longing, and realization.
“This was a true full circle moment,” says d4vd. “Hyunjin mentioned me in an interview last year, then I mentioned him on the radio when I was in Korea, and it just kept spiraling until ultimately we got to work together. He’s so talented and I’m really excited with how the song turned out. I’d like to especially thank the Stray Kids fans for being so supportive.”
‘Always Love’ follows the release of d4vd’s debut album Withered, a 15-track journey through love found and lost. The album includes standout tracks like the high-energy ‘What Are You Waiting For’, the dreamy Kali Uchis collab ‘Crashing’, and the viral hit ‘Feel It’ from Invincible Season 2 — still racking up 2M daily streams.
