Damai International is expanding further into the global entertainment space with the launch of ORCA (Original Creative Artists), a new artist development and content production label introduced under the international arm of Damai Entertainment, a subsidiary of Alibaba Group. Alongside the new label, the company has also unveiled All My Anecdotes Global Audition a worldwide artist initiative created in partnership with entertainment label All My Anecdotes.

The All My Anecdotes Global Audition will run from 3 July to 3 August. Applications can be submitted through the official All My Anecdotes website or via email to casting@orcaartists.com, while updates will also be shared through @allmyanecdotes and @orcaartists on Instagram.

Positioned as a key step in Damai International’s move into artist development, the initiative will also serve as a core talent pipeline for ORCA’s future artist projects. According to Walter Zheng, president of Damai International, the programme is part of the company’s wider strategy to identify promising talent around the world and support them with the resources, training, and opportunities needed to grow on a global stage.

To mark the launch, ORCA released a brand trailer featuring Audrey Lane and DANY. Audrey Lane, known as a dancer and choreographer and a member of Jam Republic, the runner-up crew on Street Woman Fighter 2, appears in the trailer following a recent string of international-facing projects including collaborations with MEOVV, viral dance content with KATSEYE’s Megan, and a guest appearance alongside Liu Yuxin on Sisters Who Make Waves 2026.

Joining her in the trailer is singer-songwriter DANY, whose introspective sound is paired with Audrey’s movement in what the release describes as a cinematic meeting of music and dance. Together, the two artists reflect the creative direction behind ORCA and All My Anecdotes, built around the idea that shared moments, inspirations, and encounters can eventually become lasting memories.

The audition itself is open to aspiring performers around the world with no restrictions on gender, age, or nationality, and no fixed recruitment cap. Applicants will be assessed based on talent, potential, and overall suitability. Selected candidates will join ORCA’s current artist roster, which already includes Audrey and DANY, and will receive training in performance, music production, and stagecraft from industry professionals through personalised development plans tailored to their individual strengths and goals.

According to Daryl Wang, senior vice president of music business at Damai International, ORCA is centred on creativity, artistry, and thinking beyond borders. He described the programme as more than just an audition, framing it as an opportunity for participants to learn from established creators, collaborate with emerging talent, and become part of a creative community with global reach. ORCA ultimately plans to debut a new international music group from the programme.

The launch also continues Damai International’s broader expansion across live entertainment. As the international arm of Damai Entertainment, the company’s business covers live event ticketing, event management and execution, artist management, content production, venue services, and more. In November 2025, it also introduced MAISEAT, its global ticketing platform, which has since expanded into multiple markets.

As Damai International deepens its footprint in the global entertainment space, the launch of ORCA and the All My Anecdotes Global Audition signals a broader push toward discovering and shaping the next generation of international talent. With artist development, creative collaboration, and cross-border ambition at its core, the initiative sets the stage for a new chapter that could see emerging performers grow into globally facing acts under the ORCA banner.
