On paper, this is Dashboard Confessional's first-ever show in Singapore.

But if you want to dig a bit deeper into the technicalities of it, this will be the third show. Over the past few years, Dashboard frontman Chris Carrabba made rounds in the region, heading to Singapore to perform intimate, acoustic-only shows that allowed fans to commiserate with their inner teenage angst. With this stripped-down setting, songs that were made electrified on record were given ample breathing room on stage.

This time, however, Carabba brought along the gang for a fully-fledged rock show that invigorated fans who prefer the moshpit to theatre seats. In the confines of D'Marquee — a venue no stranger to hard-hitting rock shows — Dashboard Confessional treated the audience to a set that spans their discography, sparing no expense with the hits from Dusk And Summer, along with special picks from other albums.

Check out our highlights from that night below, and read our interview with Carrabba, where he talks extensively about the band's discography.
