David Guetta has been named The World’s No.1 DJ for a record sixth time, becoming the most successful artist in the history of DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs poll.
The 2026 results were announced at Top 100 DJs LIVE at [UNVRS] in Ibiza, with the publicly voted poll receiving a record number of verified votes from 234 territories.
Guetta retains the top spot following a year that saw his tracks accumulate another five billion streams and the French producer become the first artist to score 22 No.1s on the US Dance Airplay chart.

“Wow, six times — that’s pretty serious! I’m very honoured,” Guetta said. “It’s been one of the most exciting years of my career, but what makes me happiest is seeing dance music reach a whole new level.”
His live schedule included three sold-out shows at Paris’ Stade de France, selling more than 240,000 tickets combined. Guests included Armin van Buuren, Afrojack, Black Coffee, Jennifer Lopez, Akon, Bebe Rexha, and Black Eyed Peas. He also brought his Monolith show to Red Rocks, Coachella, and venues across Europe, alongside two Ibiza residencies.
“DJs are now playing stadium shows that were once reserved for the biggest pop and rock acts,” he added. “It’s not just about me — it’s the whole community. When one of us is successful, it’s good for everyone.”
