DAY6's Wonpil is set to fly solo.
On 23 January 2022, JYP Entertainment announced that DAY6's Wonpil will be releasing his first solo album, Pilmography, on 7 February 2022, 6PM KST. Wonpil reveals a different side of himself in the mysterious teaser, as he shows his acting skills in the fantasy-themed mood film, keeping fans excited for what's to come.

His solo debut follows the release of his OST 'Like A Fire' for the web drama Best Mistake 3, in which Wonpil made his acting debut. Last year, Wonpil also released their 7th mini-album with DAY6, The Book of Us: Negentropy - Chaos swallowed up in love, as well as the 2nd mini-album Right Through Me as a part of the sub-unit DAY6 (Even of Day) consisting of Wonpil, Young K, and Dowoon.

JYP Entertainment also released the schedule for Wonpil's solo debut promotions, which includes a solo concert, Pilmography, from 11 March to 13 March 2022.
A special voice tracklist video was released, providing a peek into the stories of the album. The album consists of 10 tracks, many of which Wonpil took part in composing and writing, including the title track, '안녕, 잘 가' ('goodbye, farewell') which his fellow member Young K took part in writing.
The Live Album Sampler for Wonpil's new album was also released, showcasing short piano versions of the album's tracks.
Wonpil will also be releasing a live talk session on V LIVE and YouTube on 7 February 2022, 5 PM KST.
