In this interview, DJ SIENA reflects on the moment she knew DJing was meant for her, the artists who inspire her, how Siena Girls came together, and what keeps driving her forward in 2026.
You’ve built a career across music, fashion, and entertainment — what first pulled you toward DJing, and when did you realise it was something you wanted to pursue seriously?
My background in modeling and the entertainment industry provided a natural bridge to the world of music. I became captivated by the way DJs command the energy of a venue, whether at a club or a festival. Although I initially started with more curiosity than confidence, the experience of connecting with an audience through my sets felt truly unique. It made me realize that DJing is far more than a profession; it is a medium of self-expression that I am deeply committed to.
Was there a specific moment or experience early on that made you feel like the DJ booth was where you truly belonged?
My most unforgettable moment has to be my festival debut at Songkran in Thailand. Before stepping onto the stage, I was so incredibly nervous. I don’t think my heart had ever raced like that in my entire life. But the second the music started and I felt the crowd’s energy, all that anxiety instantly transformed into pure adrenaline. In that moment, I knew for sure this is exactly where I belong.
Are there any artists, producers, or scenes that have strongly influenced your taste and approach as a DJ?
As a DJ, I’m inspired by many, but Yellow Claw is at the top of my list. Their energy, the drops, and their "no-rules" style when it comes to genres are incredible. They showed me that a great set isn’t just about playing songs; it’s about creating a journey of flow and energy. That’s the kind of vibe I want to bring to the stage.
How has your sound evolved from when you first started?
When I first started DJing, I mostly played the music I personally loved. It was a process of exploring various genres to find my own sound. Over time, I’ve learned to find a perfect balance — a middle ground between my musical identity and the tracks that allow me to build a shared vibe with the audience.
You’ve performed in different settings and for different crowds — what do you enjoy most about reading a room live and responding in the moment?
Every crowd has its own unique energy, so I find the process of reading the room and selecting tracks in real time incredibly exciting. There’s a special kind of thrill when the reaction is even bigger than I anticipated, or when my energy perfectly syncs up with the audience. To me, that connection is one of the greatest highs you can experience as a DJ.
These days, you often perform with the Siena Girls. How did the Siena Girls first come together?
When I first started DJing, I was still balancing various modeling projects. Naturally, I found myself attending numerous events alongside my fellow models. We began exploring ways to perform together more seriously, and that collective vision finally led to the launch of Siena Girls.

You played MARQUEE Singapore recently! What are your thoughts on MARQUEE as a club?
Almost everyone knows that MARQUEE Singapore is a world-class venue. Beyond its stunning visuals, I believe the professional expertise of the management team truly cements its reputation. Audiences who come to experience such a grand and professional production are guaranteed an unforgettable night, and I could feel that incredible energy radiating toward me while I was performing. It is truly one of Singapore’s greatest points of pride.
Finally, what’s next for you in 2026?
Every year, my goal remains the same: to constantly find new ways to connect with my audience and to pour my heart into delivering the best performances possible.
