EDC Thailand is doubling the celebration in 2026, with a second edition of the iconic dance music festival set to return to Rhythm Park, Phuket from 18 to 20 December. The news comes just hours after the lights dimmed on its January edition, with organisers Insomniac wasting no time in confirming they’re bringing the Electric Sky back before the year ends.
The December dates aren’t just a scheduling surprise—they’re a strategic shift. "Scheduling the festival in January posed challenges for some who had just returned home from holiday and New Year breaks,” said Pasquale Rotella, founder of Insomniac. “By moving EDC Thailand to December, we align the event with a time when many people already have time off.” Beyond better timing, Rotella teased a vision for Thailand to become “a premier destination for music enthusiasts, much like Ibiza.”

Fans can expect even more than just the mainstage madness. The December edition will include a series of official pre- and after-parties throughout Phuket, plus a brand new All-Access Experience Pass, which grants entry to an Opening Beach Party on Thursday and exclusive daily parties over the weekend. Hotel EDC will also return with bundled perks like curated activities and shuttle services.
While the lineup is still under wraps, January’s edition set the bar sky-high with a stacked roster featuring Zedd, Porter Robinson, Armin van Buuren, deadmau5, Chase & Status, Nina Kraviz, AFROJACK, and more. If that’s anything to go by, fans can expect another heavy-hitting lineup come December.
