EL CAPITXN has officially stepped into the spotlight as an artist with the release of his debut single, 'Breaking Through',.
Best known as one of K-pop’s most in-demand producers, EL CAPITXN has built an impressive catalogue with credits for BTS, SEVENTEEN, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, IU, Jung Kook, PLAVE, and tripleS. His work includes standout tracks such as 'Take Two', 'Daechwita', 'eight', 'Girls Never Die', 'Stay Alive', 'DASH', and 'Farewell, Neverland'.
On 'Breaking Through', the producer-turned-artist teamed up with TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s Taehyun and American singer-songwriter Jeremy Zucker, whose vocals add emotional weight to the track’s introspective pull. The song captures the moment a guarded heart finally begins to open, with its layered soundscape pushing that feeling of vulnerability and release to the forefront.
The release also marked a new chapter for EL CAPITXN globally, as he expanded his reach through a strategic partnership with independent label EMPIRE. VENDORS, the production company led by the artist, shared that the collaboration would span music production through to global distribution.
