As we get closer and closer to the drop of Elephant Kind’s highly anticipated third studio album More Time, they continue to give fans sneak peeks into what the album entails. The trio have unveiled four track features among the amazing tracklist the record boasts, including ‘Plan’, ‘Hooked’, ‘Strangest Thing’, and ‘Exactly What I Needed’.
Each of the four tracks presents an energetic listening experience, with high-octane musical arrangements featuring groovy drums and synths that encapsulate the feel-good energy the songs aim to bring across. Produced by Bam Mastro, ‘Plan’ and ‘Exactly What I Needed’ bring retro vibes, with chiming piano chords and nostalgic synths intertwining and channelling the dance-worthy side of Elephant Kind.
‘Hooked’ and ‘Strangest Thing’ were both co-produced by the acclaimed Iain Berryman. Both tracks hold a sharper and edgier electronic tone. Elephant Kind performed the four tracks live in Jakarta, filming and recording live renditions of them and creating LIVETIME.
Developed between 2023 and 2025, More Time captures a transformative period for the trio, emerging as their most intimate and expansive release yet. Their third studio album weaves across genres to explore change, longing, and the search for meaning, shaped by time spent between Jakarta’s intensity and London’s reflective calm. Self-produced and mixed, the record reflects growth, resilience, and raw honesty, the sound of a band evolving forward while carrying the weight of everything they’ve learned.
Bam Mastro summarises the significance of More Time to Elephant Kind as he shares, “We’re so happy to finally share our first single in six years that leads into a full album. We’ve released songs here and there over the past few years, but this time we’re holding a complete record we truly believe in, finally on the horizon, ready to be received and heard by the world. More Time is Hip Hop, House, Rock, Eastern, Dance, and more genres we can’t even put into words, a twist and turn of frequencies pulling you from one realm to the next. An innovation.”
Altogether, these early releases paint a vivid picture of what More Time has in store; a bold, shape-shifting body of work that reflects Elephant Kind at their most confident and creatively free. As the countdown to its release continues, More Time stands poised to mark a defining moment for the trio, reaffirming their place as innovators unafraid to push boundaries while staying true to their core.
