Ely Buendia and Cheats have finally unveiled their first collab together.
On Wednesday (11/20), Cheats announced the official release of 'Grizzly Pool,' their latest single with the iconic singer-songwriter via Offshore Music.
'Grizzly Pool,' according to vocalist Jim Bacarro, was 3 years in the making. "This is just the first of many and we're super excited about it," he tells Bandwagon exclusively. Buendia adds that 'Grizzly Pool' is "a new phase in Cheats' evolution as the country’s premiere indie rock band and it’s just the beginning," he says, "I'm stoked to be part of it."

"Recording this one was fun. Just three chords and the truth," guitarist Jason Caballa reveals to Bandwagon. "I can't wait to play it live. It's a banger."
While 'Grizzly Pool' stands as Cheats and Buendia's first official release together, working on the fresh track wasn't the first time they spent studio time together. "We really enjoyed working with Ely on our debut album (he produced it) so this collab was a no-brainer," vocalist Saab Magalona-Bacarro says.
Buendia will be mounting his headlining concert Ely Buendia: A Night at the Theater at Newport Performing Arts Theater in Resorts World Manila, Pasay City on December 8 (Sunday). Get your tickets here.
Cheats are slated to appear at this year's edition of All Of The Noise at Century City Mall Events Hall in Makati City on November 23 (Saturday). Tickets available here.
