ENHYPEN have brought their THE SIN series to a cinematic close.
On 12 September, the K-pop group unveiled the music video for 'Checkmate', a B-side from their eighth mini album, THE SIN : BLISS. Released as a special gift for ENGENEs, the visual sees the members breaking free from their confines against the track's driving industrial beats and fast-paced techno rhythm.
The release concludes the narrative that began with THE SIN : VANISH and continued with THE SIN : BLISS. Built around the motif of “sin”, the series connects its music, lyrics, and multilingual narration as part of the group's larger storytelling.
THE SIN : BLISS also marked a new career high for ENHYPEN, earning the group their first number one on the Billboard 200. According to BELIFT LAB, the record sold over 2.09 million copies worldwide in its first week, becoming their fifth double million-selling album.
ENHYPEN will next take their ENHYPEN WORLD TOUR ‘BLOOD SAGA’ to Macau this October, followed by a four-dome tour across Japan from December through February and shows in Europe.
