ENHYPEN have returned with the next chapter of their vampire story. On 21 August, the K-pop group released their eighth mini-album, THE SIN : BLISS, the second instalment in their ongoing THE SIN series. The record follows THE SIN : VANISH and continues the story of two lovers who break a taboo in vampire society and go on the run together.
At the centre of the album is lead single 'Bloody Paradise', produced by JULiA LEWiS. Blending Brazilian funk influences with raw kick drums and an infectious chorus, the track explores the freedom the lovers find in each other even as they face what could be their final moments together.
The song arrives alongside a cinematic music video partially filmed in Peru. Featuring rich colours, vintage-inspired visuals, and a wild atmosphere, the video brings the track's tale of love, danger, and freedom to life against a distinctly Latin American backdrop.
THE SIN : BLISS expands the story through its lyrics, soundscapes, and narration, with versions presented in Korean, English, Japanese, and Chinese. Actor Park Jeong Min voices the Korean narration, while actor Kenjiro Tsuda and singer Lars Huang contribute to the Japanese and Chinese versions, respectively.
Speaking at a press conference ahead of the release, JAY shared the group's confidence in the project: “We confidently call this album the best of ENHYPEN’s career.”
“We are certain it will prove worthy of our fans’ long wait,” he added.
JUNGWON echoed the sentiment, saying, “This is the record we prepared with the fewest regrets. Because we are so satisfied with the outcome, we’re stepping into this release fully confident that it will be our brightest era yet.”
The release follows ENHYPEN's BLOOD SAGA world tour, which drew more than 193,000 fans across its Latin American and U.S. legs. The group also made appearances at Campo Marte 26 in Mexico City and San Diego Comic-Con.
