Ir was a full-circle moment for ENHYPEN’s SUNGHOON, as the former figure skater turned global K-pop star proudly carried the Olympic flame through the streets of Milan for the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics Torch Relay.

Cheered on by crowds of fans and locals near Bolivar Station, SUNGHOON lit up the relay route with his presence—merging sportsmanship and stardom in one symbolic run. The moment marked a major personal and cultural milestone, not only for the artist but for the broader K-pop movement making waves in international arenas.

“It’s incredibly emotional to be part of the Olympics, which has long been a dream of mine, now as a singer,” SUNGHOON shared. “As a former athlete, I know the passion and dedication that go into preparing for this stage. Being able to support the athletes and take part in this journey is a true honour.”

SUNGHOON’s participation was made possible through Samsung Electronics, an official Worldwide Olympic and Paralympic Partner. Currently a promotional ambassador for the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee, the artist continues to bridge his two worlds—sports and K-pop—while inspiring a new generation of fans across borders.

As only the second K-pop artist to ever join an overseas Olympic torch relay, SUNGHOON’s appearance reflects the growing power of Korean pop culture on the world stage. His torchbearer moment wasn’t just about sports—it was a celebration of unity, culture, and passion for what you love.

ENHYPEN are also bringing the heat to the Winter Games through music. Their anthemic track ‘SHOUT OUT’, from MANIFESTO : DAY 1, was chosen as Team Korea’s official cheer song, rallying national pride and Olympic spirit with every beat.
