Chinese pop superstar WoWkie Da has teamed up with Epiphone for a major milestone — the brand’s first-ever signature collaboration with a Chinese artist.
The Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Custom WoWkie Da J-180 marks a significant moment for both the artist and the iconic guitar maker, as Epiphone deepens its connection with China’s music community.
Built on the Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Custom J-180 LS platform, the acoustic guitar blends premium craftsmanship with WoWkie Da’s unmistakable personality. The model features a 25.5-inch scale length for enhanced projection and clarity, paired with all-solid tonewoods — including a thermally aged Sitka spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides — making it equally suited for studio sessions and live stages.
Visually, the J-180 is all attitude. Finished in full-gloss ebony black, the guitar sports WoWkie Da’s signature logo on the top, mother-of-pearl star inlays across the ebony fretboard and bridge, and his autograph on the truss rod cover. It’s also equipped with an L.R. Baggs Element Bronze VTC pickup system for reliable amplified sound.
Available exclusively in China via Gibson and Epiphone authorised dealers and T-Mall, the WoWkie Da J-180 arrives with a custom hardshell case and signature strap — a fitting tribute to one of Chinese pop’s most influential figures.
