Eric Chou to hold first concerts in Taipei Arena since the start of the pandemic

Eric Chou will resume his touring plans next month, with new dates for his 'How Have You Been' Taiwan tour announced last week in view of the nation's recovery from COVID-19.

Contrary to industry predictions on the return of large-scale live music performances, Chou's performances in Taipei and Kaoshiung from August to September will mark the first concerts held in the Taipei Arena and Kaoshiung Arena since the pandemic. Following the eagerness of his fans, all four shows this year were sold out within the first 15 minutes since the tickets were released.

Chou thanked his fans on Facebook and said that with increased security measures, it would ensure that tickets will not be wiped out by ticket resellers.

Chou's Taiwan tour will be his first concert since his Singapore tour last December. Recently, he collaborated with 31st Golden Melody Awards nominee G.E.M. in their latest heartbreak single 'Don't Force It (別勉強)', which caught the likes of fans of both singers.

Fans expressed their love for the complementary nature of Chou and G.E.M.'s voices and those who were going through a heartbreak found the song especially relatable.

With music performances picking up again in Taiwan, hopefully, this silver lining can reach other parts of the world soon as we continue recovering from the impacts of COVID-19.
