Following the news that ENHYPEN's Heeseung has reinvented himself as EVAN after his decision to pursue a solo career, he takes his next big step, making his festival debut at KCON LA 2026.
Although there was some initial push back with Heeseung's departure from ENHYPEN, protest trucks being sent to HYBE demanding that "ENHYPEN is 7", this announcement of EVAN joining the star-studded lineup for the anticipated festival was widely well received with many fans sharing their excitement under the announcement post on KCON's official X account.

EVAN will be performing alongside some of K-pop's most beloved bands such as NCT 127, who will be headlining the first day of the festival, ZEROBASEONE headlining day two of the festival and musical trailblazers TOMORROW X TOGETHER headlining day three of the festival.
Also joining the roster are artists such as ILLIT, NCT's TAEYONG, YEONJUN and rising stars JO1, MEOVV, KEYVITUP and many more. Taking place across three days from Friday, 14 August to Sunday, 16 August, EVAN will be featured as a special performer on the third day of the festival one the M COUNTDOWN STAGE, finally establishing his musical identity outside of ENHYPEN and shaping his own sound in front of thousands of fans who rally in support of his decision to continue on his own.
With EVAN stepping onto the KCON LA 2026 stage, the performance marks a defining moment in his transition into a solo identity, as he begins carving out a distinct artistic path beyond his past group framework. Set against a lineup of major K-pop acts across three days of the festival, his debut appearance signals both a new beginning and a bold statement of intent, one that introduces EVAN’s evolving artistry to a global audience on one of the genre’s biggest international stages.
