The fighting game community is heading to Singapore.
Evo Singapore has opened player registrations and ticket sales for its inaugural edition, which will take place from 15 to 17 January 2027 at the Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Center. The Singapore event marks the latest addition to the Evolution Championship Series' international calendar.

Players will compete for a share of a minimum guaranteed US$125,000 prize pool across five titles: Capcom's Street Fighter 6, Bandai Namco Entertainment's TEKKEN 8, Sony Interactive Entertainment's MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls, Arc System Works' Guilty Gear -Strive-, and Cygames' Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising.
The TEKKEN 8 competition will double as the Last Chance Qualifier for the TEKKEN World Tour 2026 Global Finals, which will also be held in Singapore. Group stages are scheduled for 14 and 15 January, followed by the Last Chance Qualifier on 16 January and the Final Bracket on 17 January. The Global Finals will feature a US$300,000 prize pool.

"Singapore has a vibrant history with fighting games; including producing Evo champion Xian, former world tour qualifier events like Southeast Asia Major, and hosting offices for multiple fighting game publishers," said Evo GM Rick Thiher. "We're excited for Evo and the TEKKEN World Tour 2026 Global Finals to be part of the Lion City's ongoing legacy."
Away from the brackets, Evo Singapore will bring together different corners of the fighting game community with an Evo Museum featuring a new History of TEKKEN World Tour exhibit, flash tournaments for legacy titles, an arcade zone, casual play areas, cosplay activities, meet-and-greets, vendors and merchandise, and community-run BYOC tournaments.

Fans who cannot make it to Singapore will also be able to catch the action online via Evo's Twitch and YouTube channels, with multiple stages offering daily coverage from the pools through to the Top 8.
Trip.com has been announced as the official ticketing partner and exclusive ticketing platform for Evo Singapore and the TEKKEN World Tour 2026 Global Finals. Player registrations and tickets are also officially on sale here. Competitors will register separately via start.gg. Tournament registration does not serve as an event-entry ticket.
