BTS are celebrating their 10th birthday, and the entire world has turned purple to join the festivities.
On 13 June 2023, the award-winning pop icons are commemorating 10 years together as a group. As a gift to fans, the seven-piece act has released 'Take Two,' a song about reminiscing on the past and looking forward to the future.
BTS PRESENTS EVERYWHERE, the BTS 10th Anniversary FESTA (2023 BTS FESTA) theme, is true to its name as celebrations are happening in all corners of the world – with fans able to enjoy both online and in-person activities.
The 2023 BTS FESTA's culminating event will be an in-person event in Yeouido, Seoul on 17 June 2023. Featuring exhibitions and experiential programs, the days highlights will be BTS leader RM hosting an open radio show called It's 5 PM, and This is Kim Namjun at the ARMY Lounge from 5 to 6 pm KST. and a firework show accompanied by BTS’ music and Jungkook’s voice narration from 8:30 to 9 pm KST.
The radio show will be live streamed via Weverse Live (simulcast live) and Tiktok (delayed streaming in vertical), while the firework event will also be live streamed via Weverse Live, YouTube and TikTok (all simulcast live).
As a testament to the group's impact and growing legacy, millions of people around the globe are also celebrating this milestone with RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. ARMY (fans of BTS) have come up with fan projects including the 2023 ARMY song for BTS. Titled 'Love Letters,' the song was written and produced by ARMY all over the world, a love letter to BTS for all the joy and happiness they've brought to millions of ARMYs.
The day also saw Twitter light up with millions of tweets for #10YearswithBTS, and as well as messages dedicated to the group for #BTS10thAnniversary.
