Fans of Phoebe Bridgers get engaged at singer-songwriter's Singapore concert

For a pair of Phoebe Bridgers fans, the American singer-songwriter's recent stop in Singapore is not one that they will be forgetting anytime soon.

Taking to Twitter on 16 February, a user who goes by monke pit announced that she had been proposed to by her partner, Indonesian singer-songwriter Putra Timur, at one of Bridgers' Reunion Tour shows at the Esplanade Theatre

Since kicking off his music career back in 2017, Timur has become known for tracks such as 'Merengkuh Mesra' and 'Segalaku Untukmu, Segalamu Untukku', the latter of which is featured on his 2020 debut album Mahligai. Earlier this month, he launched a new single titled 'Bayang-Bayang'

In her tweet, monke pit revealed that the proposal took place while Bridgers was performing the song 'Savior Complex'.
