A few weeks ago, JYP Entertainment’s J.Y. Park teased a possible music festival in collaboration with the big four record labels in Korea including HYBE, SM Entertainment, and YG Entertainment. He also stated that it would beat out Coachella in terms of scale, spotlighting some of Korea’s most talented alongside an amazing regional and international lineup.
While no further information has been released other than the project allegedly being in the early stages of conceptualisation, we got to thinking about who would be featured on a lineup for a music festival greater than the iconic Coachella. From headliners to wildcard appearances, we came up with a list of performers who would be featured in a perfect fantasy festival lineup, shaking up the music scene and maybe even dethroning Coachella. Read on to get a ticket to see your dream imaginary lineup.

Kpop acts
CORTIS

One of the fastest rising rookie groups of 2026, CORTIS has consistently proved that they’ve got the charm to draw in fans effortlessly. Since their 2025 debut, the quintet has reached remarkable milestones from their song ‘Mention Me’ being featured on the soundtrack for the animated film GOAT, to unveiling their second EP GREENGREEN dripping with punk-tinged hip-hop influences.
Their explosive sound sets them apart from others in the K-pop scene. If added to the lineup, CORTIS’ set would be more explosive than ‘TNT’ as they glide across the festival stage with an effortless edge that ignites the crowd as they dance and chant along to the anthemic lyrics.
KiiiKiii

Featuring another powerhouse breakout group on this list, KiiiKiii channels their unique house and electronic music influences as they embrace the Y2K pop princess aesthetic in 2026. Breaking away from the conventional K-pop music mould in a bold cross-genre exploration, KiiiKiii is not afraid to take risks and stage an energetic exploration of their sonic artistry.
Their fantasy festival setlist would feature some of the most hype beats that their discography has to offer including hits like ‘404 (New Era)’ and ‘Delulu’ from their 2026 EP Delulu Pack and pop classics like ‘I DO ME’ from their 2025 EP UNCUT GEM.
ILLIT

ILLIT definitely has to join this fantasy festival roster as their absolutely ‘Magnetic’ energy is perfect for the setting. As they step into a new and bold era, they switch from their ‘NOT CUTE ANYMORE’ soft girl energy to a bold and fierce new identity with ‘It’s Me’. With enthusiastic fan chants of “Who’s your bias” and fans calling back “I’m your bias”, their fantasy festival set would be a blend of confidence, charisma, and connection as they engage audiences effortlessly.
BTS

To say that BTS is one of the world’s most revolutionary K-pop groups of all time would be an understatement. Staging a fantasy festival lineup without one of the most iconic bands of the 21st century would be a crime. Now in their comeback era with their latest release ARIRANG, the musical powerhouses ‘SWIM’ right to the top of the charts with their boundary-breaking sound that is reminiscent of some of their earlier hits.
Their fantasy festival set would be a spectacular performance packed with emotions like nostalgia, exhilaration, and glee with a mix of past hits like ‘FAKE LOVE’ and newer bangers like ‘FYA’, as fans rejoice while watching their favourites on stage once again.
BIGBANG

A 20-year legacy that’s been rekindled once again, iconic hits that have reverberated through speakers at other music festivals such as Coachella. As they return with the same fire that they had during their debut, BIGBANG would bring all the vibes of early-era K-pop, setting the fantasy festival to a reminiscent mode as fans sing along to iconic era-defining hits like ‘BANG BANG BANG’, ‘Haru Haru’, ‘IF YOU’, and more.
BIGBANG joining the fantasy festival lineup would transport the crowd to the sass and fiery early 2000s when the summer spirit and having fun was all that mattered, perfectly matching the tone for an upbeat celebration of music.
International / regional acts
Zara Larsson

When Zara Larsson takes the stage, the sun never sets on a festival. As the moonlight shines in unison with beautiful neon lights, it creates the ‘Midnight Sun’. As the queen of summer vibes and unadulterated bliss, she would set the vibes for the festival with her iconic hits that are warm, familiar, and carefree.
Zara’s fantasy festival setlist would electrify the crowd as they sing along to bangers like ‘Lush Life’, dancing along to the viral choreography while channelling their inner dolphins while jumping along to the shimmering beats of ‘Symphony’ (If you know you know). Zara Larsson joining the fantasy festival lineup would bring an explosion of glitter, vibrance, and raw uninterrupted fun to the mix.
Olivia Rodrigo

One of the biggest pop rock princesses of our generation with her ability to take the crowd on an emotional journey through rage, excitement, romance, and of course ‘jealousy, jealousy’. As she’s back once again with You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love on the horizon, she channels all the sad girl energy and angst into her lead single ‘drop dead’ that’s virtually the perfect love song to scream along to.
A crowd of hopeless romantics singing along to Olivia Rodrigo could not be a more perfect pairing as the energy buzzes in the atmosphere. She may even appear during a set by another artist like her cameo at Coachella during Addison Rae’s ‘Headphones On’ where she also debuted ‘drop dead’. Adding Olivia Rodrigo to the fantasy festival lineup may even result in a teaser of a potential second single!
SB19

P-pop kings SB19 are one of the region’s most prominent names as their reach extends beyond the Philippines, engaging fans regionally and even globally. Their presence on the fantasy festival lineup would drive fans wild as they party all day to standout hits such as ‘VISA’, ‘Emoji’, ‘Toyfriend’, and more.
It would also be a chance to spotlight talents all across Asia as the musical trailblazers rise rapidly with each new track soaring to the top of the charts. The alluring charm of the quintet would create an immersive live experience that would make the fantasy festival’s roster unbeatably versatile.
XG

X-pop champions XG dominate the Asian pop scene, being a Japanese group that’s based in South Korea, appealing to a mass global audience with their all-English lyrics. Their wide reach mixed with their one-of-a-kind otherworldly concept and visuals truly makes them stand out in a crowd as the powerhouses create a niche for themselves.
Their meticulous storytelling comes through in their commitment to the story behind each record as they execute themes perfectly. Featuring XG on the fantasy festival lineup would draw in audiences not just auditorily through their catchy hit songs, but visually through the stunning choreography and costuming as well.
Tame Impala X BLACKPINK's JENNIE

Tame Impala has fans constantly entranced by the hypnotic melodies of hits like ‘Let It Happen’, ‘The Less I Know The Better’, ‘New Person, Same Old Mistakes’, and more. He turns into the pied piper with each new release, brimming with ambient synths and haunting melodies that make them feel like they’ve been transported to a different dimension. The psychedelic lull of his tracks mixed with the electronic music elements create a genre mashup that’s so unique it would bring life to our fantasy festival.
In a surprise turn of events, a mashup performance featuring none other than BLACKPINK’s JENNIE would be a remarkable moment, creating a live crossover so iconic that the fantasy festival would be the talk of every tabloid for weeks to come. In a seamless blend of JENNIE’s magnetic voice and Tame Impala’s magical allure as they perform the viral hit 'Dracula', the pair joining the fantasy festival lineup would be an absolutely unforgettable performance.
