29 December is set to be a night of cross-border musical camaraderie as Bistro Rising 2025 brings together Filipino indie artists from Singapore and the Philippines for a one-night-only showcase at The 70’s Bistro in Quezon City.

Presented by Mushi Entertainment, the event spotlights the growing creative ties between the two nations through a diverse lineup that celebrates the vibrant Filipino indie scene.

Headlining the night are three Singapore-based acts making their return to Manila:

  • iLaya, the soul-pop outfit bringing feel-good grooves and Pinoy sensibility to Singapore’s underground circuit,

  • Nostress, an indie rock collective with raw emotional punch, and

  • The Next Wave, whose shimmering ‘80s new wave flair is impossible to ignore.

Joining them onstage are local favorites Shumi, the Bulacan-bred band riding the city pop revival wave, and Rooftop Reveries, known for their heartfelt lyrics and polished live sets.

“This event is a testament to the vibrant and growing indie music community in both Singapore and the Philippines,” shares Monx Moncayo, General Manager and Founder of Requiem Rising Singapore. “It creates opportunities for creative collaboration and talent showcase”.
