The Philippine Presidential elections is slowly approaching. 

Over the last couple of weeks, several political figures, including the likes of Filipino senator and boxing star Manny Pacquiao and Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, have announced their candidacy for Presidency, with many advocating for their preferred candidates online.

Today (10/07), current Vice President Leni Robredo announced that she will be joining the race and shortly after, like with many things on the Internet, it spawned a wave of hilarious memes. In a showcase of support and solidarity for their chosen candidate, Filipino music fans painted Twitter pink – Robredo's campaign colour – using photos and gifs of pop icons and K-pop stars.
