Forbes has unveiled their annual World's Billionaires List featuring the richest in 2022.
2,668 billionaires are on the list this year, but aside from your usual business moguls and traditional entrepreneurs, entertainment executives, video game developers, and artists also made the list.
Rihanna, who's said to be Barbados' first-ever billionaire lands at number 1,729. The singer, who is behind beauty empire Fenty and lingerie brand Savage x Fenty, is worth $1.7 billion.
Meanwhile, hip-hop moguls JAY-Z and Kanye West rank at number 2,076 and number 1,513 respectively.
Media and entertainment executives rank high on the list, such as Zhang Yiming. The founder of China-based company ByteDance which is home to TikTok, ranks at number 25 and is currently worth $50 billion.
Gaming entrepreneurs also made the list with Square Enix's Yasuhiro Fukushima at number 1,645. The Japanese gaming firm developed the likes of fan favourites Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, and Dragon Quest.
In South Korea, cousins Bang Si-Hyuk and Bang Jun-Hyuk dominate the music entertainment and mobile gaming spheres respectively. Bang Si-Hyuk, who founded HYBE - home to global superstars BTS - ranks at number 1,053, while Bang Jun-Hyuk, the man behind Korea's largest mobile game company, Netmarble, places at number 1,645.
Sea founding partners Forrest Li and Gang Ye rank at numbers 984 and 509 respectively. The Singaporean-based company Sea is home to the popular battle royale game called Garena Free Fire.
