Since their debut, FORD TRIO has established their creative identity through their signature sound of emotionally charged rhythms, captivating guitar riffs, and evocative vocals. This unique style bleeds into their latest album giving it the band's distinct flair.
YANT explores themes of growth and evolution in human relationships, captured by the band’s refined sound and sharp artistic direction. The first two singles released from the album were, 'KON LA KON' and 'REEBOK' offering a glimpse into the newly evolved version of their creative voice.
The album illustrates the band's emotionally resonant storytelling style through their lyricism. One of the tracks that channels this strength is 'MUJINA' which follows the narrative of an old Japanese folktale about a shape-shifting tanuki spirit that deceives travelers into wandering into the forest, only to consume their souls.
The band uses the lyrics and the haunting melody to connect the folk tale that inspired the song to the overarching theme of the complex facets of human relationships.
The track features Kuro from Japan's TAMTAM, a band known for their genre-defying sound often blending neo-psychedelic, contemporary R&B, and indie pop with traditional Japanese instruments to create a sense of individuality through their sound.
The fusion between FORD TRIO's Thai neo funk and TAMTAM's modern Japanese style culminates in 'MUJINA', a track that stands out for its hypnotising sound.

PLUK-SEK SERVICE is a new live show concept that the band debuted at LIDO LIVEHOUSE Presents: The Richman Toy & FORD TRIO on 18 July and will be accompanying them on every stop of their upcoming tour.
The concept follows the theme of “A grand sacred ritual passed down through generations, shrouded in legend”, echoing the band’s mystical artistic identity. The set features elaborate performances, ceremonial costumes and props that have been blessed by Phra Ajarn Chokdee of Wat Kai Tia.
