In a moment that had hearts racing and fans cheering, Fujii Kaze made a surprise appearance at Paragon Parc in Bangkok to celebrate the release of his debut English single, 'Hachikō'.
Thousands of fans braved the rain and gathered from the early morning, holding on to the hope of seeing one of Japan’s most beloved artists — and they weren’t disappointed.
Donning the same striking outfit from the 'Hachikō' music video, Fujii took the stage to roaring applause. As screens around the venue lit up with his image, the crowd sang along not just to his latest single, but also to fan-favourites including 'Shinunoga E-Wa', 'Matsuri', and 'Michi Teyu Ku (Overflowing)'.
To top it all off, Thai fans serenaded the singer with a surprise rendition of 'Happy Birthday' — a day early — bringing an emotional smile to his face. Fujii returned the love with a heartwarming round of Thai phrases like “Sabai dee mai?”, “Kon Thai narak!”, and “Kob khun krub,” melting hearts across the crowd.
After his mini-performance, the fan service didn’t stop. Fujii spent several minutes greeting fans, shaking hands, signing autographs, and snapping selfies — an intimate, unforgettable moment for those who made it out.
Up next, Fujii Kaze is set to go global. The 'Shinunoga E-Wa' hitmaker is bringing his music to major festivals across the world in 2025, including North Sea Jazz Festival, Montreux Jazz Festival, Lollapalooza, and Outside Lands. His upcoming album Prema drops 5 September, promising even more sonic magic for fans everywhere.
