G-DRAGON’s Ubermensch world tour is off to a rocky start — the 2 August show at Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok has been canceled, sparking backlash from fans.

AEG Presents Asia cited “unforeseen circumstances” and issued an apology, promising updates via official channels. But fans aren’t buying it.

Even before the announcement, there were concerns about the Bangkok show — from the outdoor venue during peak rainy season to the lack of ticketing info close to showtime. Many pointed fingers at Galaxy Corporation, the agency behind the tour, accusing them of mismanagement.

This week, fans staged a truck protest outside Galaxy’s Seoul HQ, airing videos calling out poor planning, lack of transparency, and failure to prioritise official fan club members in ticketing. Overseas fans also slammed third-party VIP ticket releases and unclear scheduling.

Other stops, including Macao, Jakarta, and Melbourne, faced criticism over venue size and last-minute additions that raised health concerns for G-DRAGON. The U.S. and European legs haven’t fared better, with short notice and only Paris confirmed in Europe.

While insiders say not all blame lies with Galaxy Corporation, fans remain frustrated.

“We sincerely apologize for the disappointment and inconvenience,” said AEG in a statement. But for many, it’s not enough — they're demanding accountability and better planning.
