Garden Beats 2020 to proceed, changes include BLOND:ISH cancellation, ticket transfer and refund options

Despite a slew of concert and festival cancellations in the region in light of the ongoing COVID-19 coronavirus situation, Garden Beats has announced that its upcoming festival, slated to take place on 29 February, will proceed as scheduled.

In statements announced on their Facebook page, Garden Beats announced that they "are committed to producing a safe and magical festival experience for everyone" and will implement safety and health measures including temperature checks and Hygiene Hubs.

While the festival will run as planned, festival-goers should note that the performance line-up has changed, with the withdrawal of Sabrina Claudio, and the newly announced cancellation of BLOND:ISH, who has cancelled her entire Asia tour in light of the COVID-19 outbreak. Still set to perform are headliners FOALS and Gioli & Assia, while the rest of the line-up includes Viken Arman, The Illustrious Blacks, Crussen, Brendon P, Bongomann, DJ Aurora, James Selva, Justmack, KFC, Orio, and Toppings

Given the recent artist changes and the COVID-19 situation, Garden Beats wants to empower the community to "make their own conscious decision on attending the festival" by providing options for ticket refunds or ticket transfers.

Pre-registration links will be sent one week before the festival to ticket-buyers via email, this allows for name changes and the transfer of information for tickets.

Garden Beats has also attributed the decision of carrying on to the support of its festival-goers, artists, speakers, vendors, partners, and performers.
