Avant-rock maverick Geordie Greep is set to make his Singapore live debut! The former frontman of black midi will take the stage on 13 April at *SCAPE The Ground Theatre, marking his first-ever solo show in the city.
Presented by Symmetry Entertainment, the show will see Greep bring his acclaimed debut solo album, The New Sound, to life in full theatrical force.

Released to widespread praise, The New Sound finds Greep stepping away from black midi’s frenetic math-rock leanings and into a bold, globe-trotting sonic universe. Recorded between London and São Paulo with over 30 session musicians, the album blends Latin big band bravado, jazz-rock flourishes, progressive pop twists, and sleek fusion textures into what can only be described as a virtuosic fever dream.
“Music can be so much more than learning to play the same as everybody else. It can be anything you want,” Greep shares about the project. “With recording The New Sound, it was the first time I have had no one to answer to.”
On stage, Greep is a commanding presence. His shows unfold like theatrical odysseys, where meticulously arranged compositions dissolve seamlessly into breakneck, improvised jams. If his past performances are anything to go by, Singapore can expect a night that walks the tightrope between the audacious and the brilliant — and makes it look effortless.
Tickets are priced at S$80 (Limited Early Bird), S$90 (Advance), and S$110 (Doors). Tickets go on sale on 26 February at 12PM via Eventbrite.
