Electronic duo Gioli & Assia have officially canceled their Garden Beats Festival performance. Thai electro R&B star Pyra is set to take their place at this weekend's festival.
In an official press release, Garden Beats explained that Gioli & Assia's cancellation is "due to the spike in the number of COVID-19 cases in Italy within the last 48 hours", and that the team had been "trying [their] utmost best in the last 48 hours to find a replacement act for [their] Garden Stage".
The festival also announced that Foals's previously 60-minute set will be extended to an 80-minute show. The rest of the line-up includes Viken Arman, The Illustrious Blacks, Crussen, Brendon P, Bongomann, DJ Aurora, James Selva, Justmack, KFC, Orio, Toppings, and Running Touch.
In spite of the many lineup changes, Garden Beats assured festival-goers: "With more than 6 months in the making, three artists cancellations, and multiple programme revisions, we will raise the bar of this year’s edition of Garden Beats, in terms of festival programming, to the next level."
