Good Times double header: Pushin'On turns 11 while ATTAGIRL teams with Bae Tokyo

February's edition Good Times will feature not one, but two big parties on the 2nd and 3rd floors of Blu Jaz Cafe.

Starting with level two, long-running collective Pushin'On will be celebrating their big 11th anniversary with an extended dose of funk, soul, and disco.

Over the last decade, the boogie-loving crew have been prolific all around Singapore and beyond, scoring notable residencies at major clubs and high-profile showcases at huge international festivals. But if you look back all the way to Pushin'On's roots, you'll know that the collective's earliest home was Blu Jaz, so its only fitting that they'll be back where it all began for their 11th birthday bash.

Pushin'On stalwarts Shellsuit, Chunk, Code and Masterpiece will be holding it down on the decks for this very special occasion.

Upstairs on the level three, all-girl Singaporean collective ATTAGIRL will be embarking on an exciting transnational collab with Japanese creative agency Bae Tokyo

Founded in 2015, the crew's admirable goal is to embolden women "by providing a platform for DJs and artists regardless of race, ethnicity and sexual identity."

Their ethos is very in line with ATTAGIRL's which probably explains why they've already teamed up so often in the past. If you recall, Bae Tokyo resident Shioriybradshaw played here during ATTAGIRL's 3rd anniversary party, while A/K/A Sounds herself was a special guest during Bae Tokyo's 1st anniversary event at solfa Tokyo last year.

And time around, two of Bae Tokyo's leading ladies in Jayda B (the collective's founder hailing from Atlanta) and YonYon (a beat-maker and singer-songwriter from Korea) will be making the trip down to the Lion City to headline next week's bass-heavy Good Times! They'll be also be supported by A/K/A Sounds, DuriO and KINNIE, alongside visuals from Collectivenonsense.

The party takes place on Friday, 3 February and will last from 10pm till late. Entry at the door is only $10.
