Green Day cancel Asia tour - Manila, Singapore, Bangkok, Tokyo, Osaka, Hong Kong, Seoul, and Taipei

Green Day have announced that they will no longer be touring Asia in light of the growing concerns about the COVID-19 situation around the world.

The American punk rock outfit was originally due to perform in six countries across Asia — Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, the Philippines, Taiwan, Japan, and South Korea — between March and April 2021, a year after the pandemic forced them to postpone their 2020 shows.

Concert promoters, such as Lushington Entertainment, MMILive, and Creativeman, broke the news about the cancellation on their respective Twitter pages on 15 January and announced refund details.
