GudFest 2023 is no longer pushing through.

On 14 March, Jakarta-based promoters GudLive announced that GudFest 2023 has been officially cancelled. The festival was set to feature performances by SUM41 and homegrown acts NTRL, Summerlane, Rocket Rockers, Closehead, and more.

Scheduled to take place on 19 March 2023, the 2023 edition was follows the postponed 2022 edition which had Lauv and Dashboard Confessional on the lineup. Refunds were offered last November upon postponement of the event.

This year, the promoters cited unresolved refund issues for their 2022 festival for the cancellation of this year's edition. "It is with a heavy heart that we convey this news, looking from several aspects with the consequences and in-depth considerations. We state the dismissal of GUDFEST 2023, a big apology from us for everything that happened," GudLive shared in an official statement via Instagram.
