Fans of classic UK alternative rock are in for a treat as Happy Mondays are set to perform in Singapore for the very first time. The legendary Madchester icons will take over Foo Chow Hall on 15 September for a one-night-only show celebrating 35 years of their landmark album Pills ’n’ Thrills and Bellyaches.
Presented by LAMC, the concert promises a night packed with euphoric grooves, acid house energy, and the band’s signature dancefloor chaos. Fronted by the unmistakable Shaun Ryder alongside fan-favourite Bez, Happy Mondays remain one of the most influential acts to emerge from the UK’s alternative music scene.

Formed in Salford, Greater Manchester in 1980, the band became synonymous with the Madchester movement after signing to Factory Records under Tony Wilson. Their fearless blend of indie rock, psychedelia, funk, and club culture helped shape British music throughout the late ’80s and early ’90s.
Released in 1990, Pills ’n’ Thrills and Bellyaches went platinum in the UK and cemented Happy Mondays as one of the defining bands of their era. Fans can expect to hear era-defining hits including 'Step On' and 'Kinky Afro' when the group hits the Singapore stage this September.
Fresh off acclaimed tours and festival appearances across the UK and beyond, the band continues to prove why their live performances remain as exhilarating and unpredictable as ever.
Tickets go on sale starting with a LAMC Members Earlybird Pre-Sale on 28 May at 10 AM SGT, while general sales begin on 29 May at 12 PM SGT via LAMC’s official website.
