Written over several years—some songs dating back to 2021—43210 is heiakim’s most vulnerable project to date. The EP’s title isn’t just a numerical sequence, but a countdown into the layers of his creative and emotional evolution. Tracks like ‘4head’, ‘3nd </3’, ‘2eality’, ‘1ntertwined’, and the memorably titled ‘0strich ran faster than me, wth’ reveal stories he once kept hidden out of fear. “I was scared to show this side of me,” heiakim shares. “These songs are based on real things I went through, and even though the lyrics are sad, I made the music upbeat—like a way to cope and move forward.”
True to his style, the music still carries that familiar blend of alternative pop, J-pop energy, and playful experimentation, but this time, it’s laced with honest storytelling. Behind the whimsical titles and polished production is an artist unmasking himself, redefining what fans can expect.
