TINAY, formerly known as Her Name is Noelle, is ushering in a new chapter with the release of her vulnerable rock anthem, 'Paper Skin'.

The Manila-based artist reintroduces herself with a name that hits closer to home—TINAY, a nod to her given name and a bold statement of artistic rebirth. The gritty yet emotionally charged debut under this new moniker sees the alt-rock musician leaning fully into her rawest self yet.

“I think as an artist, this is how I share my vulnerable side,” she shares. “Through songwriting, it’s how my subconscious is reaching out to me to heal and talk about what I'm feeling.”

'Paper Skin' is a powerful reintroduction. Written during a moment of burnout and soul-searching, the track represents TINAY’s personal reckoning and decision to step into a version of herself that’s freer, fiercer, and more authentic.

“Mid-July, I actually lost my spark. I realized I didn’t get to show myself as an artist in my music. The name change is not just about music but how my audience can see me as an artist.”

The accompanying music video for ‘Paper Skin’ will premiere tonight at 7 PM (PHT). A debut album is also on the horizon.

TINAY first broke into the scene as Her Name is Noelle in 2021 with her EP Vulnerability, followed by a self-titled album packed with emotionally-charged tracks like ‘Buried into Me’ and ‘Will This Ever End’. Now, under her new name, she’s doubling down on that emotional core—rocking harder, feeling deeper, and carving space for honesty in OPM rock.
