Here are all the winners of the 3rd Society of Composers and Lyricists Awards — Encanto, Don't Look Up, No Time To Die, and more

On the night of 8th March, esteemed and rising songwriters, composers and musicians received awards for their contributions to various soundtracks at the Los Angeles’ Skirball Center

The 3rd annual Society of Composers and Lyricists Awards ceremony was graced by Carter Burwell, who won the annual Spirit of Collaboration award, together with his reputable filmmaking partners, brothers Joel and Ethan Coen. Responsible for the scoring of the 1996 film ‘Fargo’, 2007’s ‘No Country for Old Men’ as well as 1998’s ‘The Big Lebowski’, Burwell was just one of the many who were honoured for their musical talents.

Additionally, for the second year in a row, an animated film took home the award for Outstanding Original Score for a Studio Film. Encanto, the Colombian Disney film, had its music direction spearheaded by Germaine Franco (Someone Great, Coco) with help from Broadway regular Lin-Manuel Miranda (Hamilton, tick, tick… BOOM!).

Big names such as siblings Billie Eilish and FINNEAS as well as Ariana Grande and Kid Cudi also celebrated their win for ‘No Time To Die’ and ‘Just Look Up’ respectively.
