Hikaru Utada has unveiled the official music video for 'PAPPAPARADISE feat. Hiroto Kohmoto', giving fans a fresh visual take on one of the standout collaborations from the newly released PAPPAPARADISE digital EP.
The video reunites Utada with acclaimed director Tomokazu Yamada, who also helmed the original 'PAPPAPARADISE' visual. While the first video saw Utada behind the wheel as a taxi driver, the new installment follows Utada and legendary singer Hiroto Kohmoto on a motorcycle journey, capturing the free-spirited energy of their collaboration.
The release coincides with the arrival of both the PAPPAPARADISE digital EP and a limited-edition 7-inch vinyl single, available now.
Fans can also look forward to a rare conversation between Utada and Kohmoto, which premieres on YouTube at 9 PM JST on 24 June. Running approximately 40 minutes, the special discussion sees the two Japanese music icons reflect on their careers, creative process, and the making of 'PAPPAPARADISE'.
To mark the occasion, a special ZINE featuring highlights from the conversation will be distributed free of charge at participating Hikaru Utada × Sony Store locations across Japan. A digital edition will also be available via Hikaru Utada's official website.
