In addition, she's will also release her latest single ‘Lost in Between’ this Friday, 23 August. The song is an inernational collaboration with Finnish songwriter Anniina, who she first met during a K-pop songwriting camp during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021.

After their remote collaborations, the two female musicians finally met in-person in Seoul this year, and filmed the music video for ‘Lost in Between’ in the city, featuring a highly creative process inspired by the cinematography of Dune: Part 2.

‘Lost in Between’ addresses the struggles of under-represented communities in the music industry, and the challenge of imposter syndrome that they often face. The song explores how insecurities can hinder success, highlighting the internal battles that many musicians face, and aims to give a voice to listeners who struggle with self-doubt, encouraging them to overcome their challenges.

“After releasing my debut EP last year, I have been working in secret this year,” explains XTIE. “I have since set up my own label, and participated in multiple festivals and shows across Asia, UK and the USA to promote my new works.”
