The Mnet Asian Music Awards have unveiled this year's winners.

Hosted by K-pop icon Lee Hyori, the 2021 MAMAs featured spectacular performances and special collaboration stages from the likes of TXT, aespa, Stray Kids, ITZY, NCT 127, Brave Girls, Wanna One, Ed Sheeran, and more.

The red carpet ceremony kicked off at 4 PM KST/JST (3 PM SGT/PHT), while the main awards show started at 6 PM KST/JST (5 PM SGT/PHT).

The show was livestreamed globally via the following YouTube channels: Mnet KPOP, Mnet TV, M2, and KCON official.

Global superstars BTS were the biggest winners of the night taking home a total of 9 awards, sweeping all four Daesangs for the third year in a row - Artist of the Year, Song of the Year for their GRAMMY-nominated hit, 'Butter,' Album of the Year for their introspective record, BE, and Worldwide Icon of the Year. 

Hallyu icon IU also took home a number of awards including Best Female Artist, Best Vocal Performance for 'Celebrity,' and Best Collaboration for her work on 'NAKKA' with AKMU. 

Meanwhile, 'The Feels' hitmakers TWICE have now received the title of Best Female Group four times - 2016, 2018, 2019, and 2021.

EXO's Baekhyun, who came out with his best-selling EP, Bambi, earlier this year, won this year's Best Male Artist award for the third consecutive year.

Fourth-generation K-pop groups ENHYPEN and aespa won Best New Artist for 2021, with the 'Savage' act winning Best Dance Performance for 'Next Level'.

J-pop acts JO1 and INI were awarded Best Asian Artist: Japan and Best New Asian Artist: Japan, respectively.
